EMC - bad experience

I would like to interact with this topic.

We bought EMC solution (+- 165K euro) 1,5 year before. Our experience of this company was dramatically a big failed

panoptic subcontractor failed to installed correctly the tool and EMC archive solution makes important mail box damaged.
No support was given by EMC (just besause we do not continue to buy another product : EMC backup solution)

Now we havent got any money to buy a big solution
We are looking for an opensource professional archive solution compatible with Lotus
Have you a good experience or example in this case ?
